For various reasons--including laziness--I've been pretty quiet lately. And I was going to use this weekend to get caught up with the feedback and the chats and the thank-you notes. But--

My dad called. My grandmother in Florida has been diagnosed with cancer of the colon; she's in the hospital having surgery. My aunt and uncle are down there now, handling things. And I'm sitting here, crying and pacing and kicking things, because that's how I deal. Or don't deal. Whatever. I'm not very coherent right now.

So, um, I'm going to be quiet for a while longer. I just...wanted to let people know.
