I can't believe I'm saying this, but yes, I'm reccing it--I'm not involved enough in the ponies that I'd read the story just for them, but they're well-written and have personalities, and more importantly there's tons and tons of the boys. With banter, fistfights, and rescues. It's just lovely.
Ah, someone to share my suffering! You would find it here (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/965024/1/), although be warned that it's long and incomplete. (FYI, in this instance "Justice League" pretty much translates to "Blue Beetle and Booster Gold," although a couple of other characters have gotten look-ins and I suspect Batman at least is going to wind up going to Ponyland before the story is over.)
I generally believe that there is little to no source material that cannot be written enjoyably, although it may mean reinterpreting the universe from the ground up, and that the most bizarro crossovers can work out. None of this keeps me from boggling when it actually happens.
