The anime "Supergals"--no, no metahumans, it's a comedy about teenage girls--uses a lot of slang. In particular there's one term used to describe hot guys. This term is (translated as) "GL."

Appropriate?

Quite true. Actually, after posting my comment, it occurred to me that there were any number of GLs who, at least by human standards, did not fit that usage. Y'know, Gnort, Salak, Olapet, innumerable alien Gls whose names I cannot recall at the present...

But I think most GLs are hot by the standards of their species. Or, like Guy, just think they're hot:).
