I just bought fifty-five issues of Green Lantern. I. Um. Oh my. I mean, I did want to start investigating, but I meant to do it, you know, cautiously. In stages. Only they were so cheap, and my brain sort of fuzzed over, and. Well. Fifty-five issues. (About two thirds Englehart, samy, and thanks for the rec.)

*looks nervously at comics stack* Well, I know what I'm doing this weekend...

Right now my brain is fried, plus I haven't gotten very far in, but I think I probably do have things to say about the Guardians later...

The list is:

Green Lantern v.2--#151, #154, #157-#159, #166-#176, #178-#180, #186-#193, #197, #200, #202-#206, #208-#215, #218-#221
Green Lantern v.3--#29-#31, #36, #37, #40-#42

Which actually comes out to fifty-four issues and more like half Englehart, but I was still in shock and really can't have been expected to do proper math.

(The fact that three of the latter series are FLASH tie-ins, one of them to The Return of Barry Allen, pleases me. I haven't been looking for those stories all that hard, or I'd already have them, but if I'm going to get a new obsession, it's certainly a plus to feed an older one at the same time.)

Long story short? The writers are really, really mean. *feels urge to pet all characters indiscriminately*
