So the new TV season is beginning. Just tonight I watched the new JAG spinoff--I'm not sure I'm coming back, honestly; there's charisma to spare (and David McCallum as the medical examiner was a major treat), but I kind of prefer my law-enforcement characters to be more professional--not to mention more effective--than this. Anyway, so there's plenty for me to check out, old and new, but what I am not watching is Enterprise. I realize they've been overhauling it, but on a night that already involves Smallville, Angel, and the West Wing, Enterprise is going to have to make quantum jumps in quality to get my attention. If this turns out to be the case, I'll reevaluate.

But until then, I'm going to be watching the lunacy over at [livejournal.com profile] treksoap, which frankly I'm finding a lot more enjoyable. :) It's a roleplay with all sorts of romantic entanglements and squabbling and long-lost children and random characters dropping in through plot holes every five minutes, and it's not the least bit serious--except when it is, and that's even better. I actually like their Archer, you know? Such a relief. So anybody not getting their RDA of Trek, or just in search of some good entertainment--give it a look.

Thank you for the kind words!

So nice to know that someone out there is watching reading [livejournal.com profile] treksoap and enjoying it! Makes all the time we put into it even more worthwhile than all the fun we get out of it!

If you have any suggestions, feel free to let us know. And feel free to pimp us!

Trust me, I'm having lots of fun with [livejournal.com profile] treksoap, and will cheerfully recommend it. (Perhaps "fun" is not quite the word for The Reed And Archer Show. But something like that. :)

As for suggestions...*clears throat*...well, if you're asking, maybe give Foster more to do. He's such a great jerk, and you're going to be a little low on villains after this current plot is over. Surely he'll be trying to figure out how he can profit from the upcoming situation among the command staff...

Just a thought.

Well, I am just now getting to see this, but I certainly hope the uh.... *looks around* incident with Foster earlier was entertaining.

Oh, it was, it was (and why do I get the feeling Travis was pretty entertained himself...?) but the Starfleet Fraternization post looks even better. Our Heroes are in tro-ou-uble...! *g*

Welcome, definitely. I find [livejournal.com profile] tom_paris and his alternate universe family issues more than a little entertaining, certainly... :)
