I finally got around to watching the pilot of The OC. I'm not entirely certain why I'd taped it in the first place, since mainly what I was hearing about it were comparisons to 90210, which I never watched, and how there were rich kids doing drugs at parties, which didn't interest me. Possibly it was the indications there would be angst. Anyway, I watched the damn thing, and, um. Yes. Pretty boys. Pretty lonely boys. Pretty lonely boys hugging each other. Pretty lonely boys hugging each other in their *underwear*. No, there's really nothing else of interest (although conceivably that could change later), but I'm sunk anyway. Yeah, I'm shallow, it's just a burden I'll have to bear. *wanders off looking for fic*
