So I've got an LJ now. Wow. This is due entirely, let me add, to the generosity of smittywing and genx88. Thanks, guys.

So what do I want to *do* with my new toy? Well, mainly I've been wanting to jump up and down with glee about all the new Justice League fic at jl_fic. I don't know whether to feel inspired or intimidated, let me tell you. *pauses to watch the way Hawkgirl is fingering her mace* Well...let's make it inspired.

I should also add that I was in a toy store today, and was seriously impressed by the new JL playsets. Batman with a gargoyle-topped wall, a grappling line, and a window he smashes in. Very atmospheric. And the Superman figure comes with *chains*. I mean, yes, the point is that he's supposed to break them, but somehow I suspect there will be people not paying attention to that part. Or perhaps that's just me. :)

(I also can't help but check out the coloring. I realize that the makers tend to vary the color schemes so we'll be encouraged to keep buying the things, but a Superman with red cape, black bodysuit, and silver emblem looks downright *ominous*. I think Batman is eyeing him suspiciously from the next case over. Action figure Kingdom Come, anyone? :)
