So in the course of dealing with Amazon, I tell it that I like Y: THE LAST MAN, which I do; it's currently one of my more consistent sources of comics entertainment. And Amazon, in its inimitable wisdom, decides that this is cause for recommending the Playmobil security checkpoint.

I don't know whether to be more baffled by the connection (yes, granted, Yorick & Co. have spent over three years on the road by now, but still I'm not remembering a sequence wherein anybody asked to examine their luggage) or just to be more freaked that this thing *exists*. Toy security checkpoints. Um. Wow. I suppose it is not inherently more freaksome than toy jails, which I probably had at one point, but somehow it just breaks my brain. Although I like the reviews.

Other things that break my brain: Serenity. Not that this is news to anyone who's seen it, or indeed has more than a passing acquaintance with Joss Whedon...
