Yes, the copy/fax machine in our area was old and cranky. Yes, everyone hated it (and was convinced it hated them in return). Yes, there were many plaints along the lines of "when are they going to replace this thing?!" And yes, it was a little gratifying to have maintenance show up unexpectedly and replace it with a shiny new version...

...but it only copies! No faxing! Nobody can send us anything, because that was our listed number, and we're having to go to another section to send anything out! Is this meant to be economy or something? "You can have a new one, but only if it has half the features of the first!"

Aie. I want my old machine back.
