According to Rich Johnston, here:

"I understand that Mark Waid and Barry Kitson are to take over "Legion" some time next year.

I'm told that the current team of Andy Lanning, Dan Abnett and Chris Batisita have around a year's worth of material to be published, and are looking for other projects. One of Dan and Andy's collaborators on one of their final "Legion" issues will be Keith Giffen, and they may look to pursue further projects with him."

*repeats to self* It is a rumor. It is a rumor. A rumor that Rich indicates to be fairly reliable, but still. A rumor. I will not get excited till I hear it from official sources.

But would I ever pay money to see that...

*grins* Of course you will, the same way I picked up FF just for Waid. Here, little fangirl, you want a creator...? :)

*hangs head* I picked up FF for Waid, too. In fact, I resisted, and then Joe handed me the Imaginauts trade to read while I was waiting for someone and next thing I knew, I was handing him $20...*sigh*

And of course I will. And I'll be badgering you and 'rith right and left for info and links and fic and when it gets REALLY bad, I'll make a page. *hides*

Look at it this way: you have a year to design it. :)

(Unfortunately, the biggest collection of Legion art I'm aware of has been taken down, but there must be some scattered about. For that matter, the storyline I was mentioning last night has characters standing by themselves on all the covers...)

Yep. :) Actually, for as long as it took the first one, whatever I come up for this one will probably be shorter. And...ooh. Standing by themselves is good for business.
