(no subject)
Feb. 9th, 2004 04:31 pmGod, but I hate museum tours.
No, I do not want to be told about the exhibits. I want to look at the exhibits (usually well supplied with explanations), at my own pace, without getting frustrated every time I want to look at something that isn't what the guide is talking about. Not to mention having to maneuver around the rest of the tour group to properly see whatever it is. And I particularly do not want a guide who's constantly pausing and repeating himself and who takes so long to get to the interesting bits of the story that by then I've stopped listening.
This has been a completely pointless rant.
(As an unrelated aside: I've just started reading MIDNIGHT NATION. Yes,
miss_porcupine, you can gloat now.)
